About TutoringUkraine
TutoringUkraine is an initiative led by a team of high school students from the George Washington University Online High School and Ukrainian students located in Poland and Germany. Sponsored by Steven's Initiative, we are a part of the Ukraine Youth Action Network organized by Mapworks Learning.

Our purpose is to help Ukrainian civilians feel seen. Amidst the situation in Ukraine, educational opportunities for students have declined. We hope to battle this by offering services such as study guides and tutoring sessions for Ukrainian students in need.

Furthermore, we are raising awareness about daily lives of Ukrainian civilians affected by the war. Their struggle is one that the media does acknowledge, and this is something we are hoping to change.
